This week I am grateful for:
- sunshine people – people who light up the room/atmosphere (wish I was one of them)
- making my dreamboard. One of the pictures I chose is of tea. Typical British. I love tea though!
- my friends 🙂
Not many this week as I had a snag midweek and forgot/was in crappy mood to write what I was grateful for. Can’t be in a fantastic mood 24/7 though I am trying
It was a bummer, but nothing could be done. I just wasn’t prepared. This year! I have got to get it right this year!
I have made a dreamboard! This is the first time I have made one of these and I gotta say, it does lift me up when I look at the pictures I have chosen.
Ta-dah~ I tried to make it so all the pictures connect to the ones next to each other, kinda like a.. …dream.
Collect all the Grabitude Crackles!
One thing I have been doing recently is reflecting on the day that has past, finding something that has made me smile and writing down what I am grateful for. I have been debating whether or not to write about this on the blog, but I figured it would be a nice break from goal aspiring posts. As we are already 2 weeks into the new calendar year, I shall write what I am grateful for these past 2 weeks: Continue reading
Completing trials makes your spirit grow!
I’ve done a few trials to see how things will work out. Mainly it involves changing my morning routine for work. As I am planning on keeping hydrated, I need to drink water when I wake up. However I can’t eat breakfast straight after as it’s bad for digestion. So I’ve basically swapped round my breakfast and getting dressed times. As I’ve had this week off work, I thought it would be perfect to try this out and see if it will work.
I couldn’t come up with a word. Nothing jumped out at me. I was hoping a dream, or I stumble upon something that resonated, but nothing came to me. So I decided to do another oracle/tarot card reading but with just one card. I shuffled, spread them out, mixed them up like dominoes, then with my eyes closed, I picked one up at random. The card I picked was the Eight of Air. I read the description on Gaian Tarot , picking out key words. Two keywords stood out. “Transformation” and “Action”. I thought about Transformation at first but then, what if I transform into something negative? What if the year transforms into something negative? So I decided with Action. I liked the word, and now I feel it is more fitting for the year. I want action to take place. This is the reason I started this blog and brought the Shining Year Journals.
I’m not a very actionable person, but hopefully this year I can be.
Instead of buying a generic toy, I thought about creating a present for my nephew. I saw a minion in a shop and thought of creating a canvas inspired by this lovely scene.
